It looks like we’re hooked on our Saturday Popcorn Pop-Up series at the Balboa Theater. We will be there again this Saturday from 4 to 7pm, and every Saturday after that until things return to normal. And this week we have a couple of very special tricks up our sleeve!

Saturday, May 30 would have been another team up of the Balboa Theater and the Bawdy Caste to present the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, complete with live cast and all of the wonderful extras. Unfortunately, this pandemic has put a crimp in our plans.

So… we are going to watch RHPS together/separately from our respective homes while our friends at the BAWDY CASTE regale us with all of their costumed shenanigans LIVE VIA ZOOM! From 4pm to 7pm we will be hosting our third POPCORN POP-UP at the Balboa Theater! Come on by for To-Go Popcorn, Beer, Hot Dogs, Candy, T-Shirts and Tote Bags! AND, we will also be selling BAWDY BAGS, which include EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO THROW, BLOW AND GLOW from the privacy of your own home with the BAWDY CASTE and the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW that night!

At the Popcorn Pop-Up, we will be utilizing all safety and social distancing precautions to serve you hot, fresh, curbside popcorn, and delicious beer To-Go! We will also be offering BRAND NEW STYLES of T-Shirts and Totes available only in-person at the Pop-Up! Then, you can bring it all home and watch the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!! Pre-show with the BAWDY CASTE live via Zoom will begin at 8:30, and we will all press play on the movie at 9pm.

As an added bonus, ANDREW ST JAMES will perform LIVE at the Popcorn Pop-Up at 5:30!
